More than 165 artists and makers work at YAS, including silversmiths, sculptors, painters, jewellers, ceramicists, digital artists, photographers, textile artists, performance artists, designers, printmakers, public artists and more.

Together they form one of the largest communities of professional artists in the country.

YAS is home to two distinct buildings, each offering spaces for exhibiting, sharing and selling contemporary art and craft.

Persistence Works Gallery presents exhibitions of contemporary British painting, visual art and exceptional craft. Exchange Place provides adaptable spaces where ideas can be tested, developed and shared through collaborative and community-led work.
